| OCCASIONAL USERS Just before leaving the car park, occasional users take the transponder token from their car to the cashier terminal. The cashier receives payment and validates the token, which the customer will then have to use in order to leave. PARKING PERMIT HOLDERS Customers who have subscribed for a parking permit have a pre-paid card which allows them to go directly in and out of the car park. The PSS4000 software provides many different ways of managing permit-holder functions and has dedicated options specific to managing the car park, such as: the pre-paid, deduct-as-you-consume function; the possibility of making areas free to park in on certain days; “Antipassback” function, designed to avoid improper or unauthorised use of the permit holder’s card. The PSS4000 software allows a host of personalisations aimed at meeting the specific needs of parking providers and customers alike. These functions include pre-paid deductible credit function, the authorising of free parking timebands/days, and “Antipassback”, which prevents the same card from being used while the vehicle is still inside the car park. The system is designed to connect CAME AUTOMATIONS, such as the automatic barriers of the GARD Series, and a complete range of control and security accessories, such as photoelectric cells, sensitive ribs, movement flashing devices, magnetic sensors etc., according to current European safety standards. ADDITIONAL PAYMENT STATIONS AND MULTI-STOREY CAR-PARKS The possibility of connecting more entrances/exits and payment stations allows for a parking system to be created also on different levels. In its fullest configuration mode, the system can connect: 16 x PSE4000 Entrance units 16 x PSU4000 Exit units 16 x PSC1 Additional payment stations 1 x PSM4000 Main cashier terminal 8 x PSIO1 Additional-device control stations 1 x PSI16 Additional-station controller The additional payment stations are conceived to create a payment station also without the help of the PC.
